About the Convention
The Medical Missionary Movement African Chapter Annual Convention brings together delegates from across the continent for a week of worship, fellowship and renewal under the theme “We Have Seen His Star” (Matthew 2:2). In 2026, the Kenya Chapter (MMMK) is honored to host this gathering at the Watamu Adventist Beach Resort on the Kenyan coast.
Presented by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, ASI (Adventist-Laymen’s Services & Industries) and the Medical Missionary Movement.

Getting to Watamu
✈️ Flight: Arrival airport is Mombasa Moi International Airport. Airport to venue in Watamu: approx. USD 20 by taxi.
🚌 Road (by bus): Nairobi to Watamu: KSh 2,000 (USD 15).
🚆 Rail (by train): Nairobi to Mombasa: KSh 1,500 (USD 11), then Mombasa to Watamu: KSh 1,000 (USD 7).
Visa: Most African Union nationals can obtain an eTA / visa-on-arrival for Kenya — confirm requirements for your nationality at the official Kenya eVisa portal before travel.

Any MMM member, ASI member, medical professional, student or volunteer from Kenya or any African chapter is welcome to register. Non-members interested in medical missions are also encouraged to attend.
Many African Union nationals qualify for an eTA or visa-on-arrival in Kenya. We recommend checking the official Kenya eVisa portal at least 6 weeks before travel.
This depends on the package you choose. Camping, Triple Room, Double Room and Single Room packages include accommodation at Watamu Adventist Beach Resort for the duration of the convention. The Walk In package covers convention access only, with delegates arranging their own accommodation. See the Registration Packages section above for details, and confirm meal arrangements when you register.
Fly into Mombasa Moi International Airport, then take a taxi to Watamu (about USD 20). Alternatively, travel by bus from Nairobi to Watamu (KSh 2,000 / USD 15), or by train from Nairobi to Mombasa (KSh 1,500 / USD 11) followed by Mombasa to Watamu (KSh 1,000 / USD 7).
